United Living Group was formed from the merger of Bullock Construction Ltd and United House Ltd in September 2014 with the vision to become the UK’s leading provider of refurbished and new build living solutions

Social Communications’ creative team was appointed to develop the new identity of the Group, including a set of company values. Our creative team developed a new brand for the organisation including a refreshed company logo and full set of brand guidelines, alongside a new corporate website - including a residents’ microsite. The new-look brand was unveiled to United Living staff and the sector as part of the company’s launch in April 2015.

United Living has regional offices across Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, West Midlands, London, and Wales, all of which are supported by Social Communications’ PR team who craft and communicate both corporate and regional messaging; generating copy ranging from press releases to cases studies, e-newsletters, social media content, and much more. The core aim of our support for the United Living Group is to help the organisation to win new business. As such our responsibilities span crisis and issues management, stakeholder relations and events support, which is all aligned to the Group’s overarching business plan. We work with United Living on a daily basis to manage their media relations, raise the Group’s corporate profile through social media and thought leadership, and prepare for major announcements and events.

Award-winning conference

Our creative and PR teams supported the Group with all of its requirements at the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Conference and Exhibition 2015. Social Communications designed the exhibition stand to promote the company’s new brand to UK housing professionals, and incorporated 3D printers and the use of an interactive survey based around the question; ‘What is the future of housing?’ to help engage people at the stand. As the talk of the exhibition, United Living’s stand won the award for ‘Best Use of Technology’ from CIH.
